LAKE POINT
Assisting my dear friend and her four children transition to a new neighborhood and into a beautiful Las Colinas Mediterranean was such a joy! Not afraid of boldness, we selected several drool-worthy wallpapers to make some interesting statements. The house itself didn’t need much upon move-in, but we did update all of the wall colors, painted the kitchen cabinetry, selected new accent lighting, and created custom window treatments throughout. A nod to her family culture, we found several Swedish antiques that made for special accents. Adding a custom bookcase around the balcony door at the upstairs landing created a whole other room! Some special treats - getting to visit the artisans in Brooklyn while the custom dining table was in production and working with Austin artist Priscilla Robinson on an incredible commissioned piece for the entry.
